Ingredients

  • 1 fresh baguette
  • 1/2 cup of boursin garlic and fine herb cheese
  • 1 cup of shredded cheese eg. gruyere, parmesan, cheddar, emmental, etc.
  • 1 tablespoon of fresh parsley
  • pinch of salt and pepper

Instructions

  • Using a serrated knife, cut the baguette into 2 inch (5 cm) slices. You can cut them at a slight angle if you wish, but it isn't necessary.
  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Place the bread on a baking tray.
  • Using a knife or teaspoon, scoop out some boursin cheese and spread it across the top of each of the bread slices.
  • Sprinkle some shredded cheese liberally across the top of the bread slices and boursin.
  • Place the baking tray in the oven for around 5 minutes or until the cheese is as melted as you like it.
  • Take the baking tray out of the oven and arrange the boursin garlic bread slices on a serving plate.
  • Add some parsley on top for decoration and serve while warm.
